Open Studio Package

from $37.24

Don’t know how many hours and how much clay to buy?

Here are some packages that give you a start on your pottery experience

2 hours and 3 pounds of clay

3 hours and 6 pounds of clay

4 hours and 9 pounds of clay

For Beginners it’s always recommended that you start with a pound of clay and it can take somewhere between 20 to 30 minutes to try to make your first piece. If you mess up or don’t keep your first piece, that clay is now to wet to rethrow right away so you’ll need another piece to work with. Giving yourself ample time and multiple 1 pound balls of clay will allow you to practice and utilize your time effectively. You won’t need a lot of time to trim or glaze so one hour for both things will work to be able to complete a project. Firing fees not included in price because this is based on the sizes of your pieces.
